Enrico Letta expected in Malta on Monday 11th November, 2013 to discuss migration

Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta is expected in Malta for meetings with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat on Sunday and Monday.
Following talks at Castille and a joint press conference on Monday, the two prime ministers are expected to visit the amphibious assault ship ‘San Marco’, which is engaged in the operation Mare Nostrum, a military and humanitarian operation in the central Mediterranean.

The San Marco has a flat deck for helicopter operations and a rear dock for landing craft.
