Photographers’ Rights at Law
The Right to take Pictures and the Right to Protect them was a presentation given by Dr. Jackie Scerri, Director for Legal Services at Equinox, at 3 different Malta Institute of Professional Photography (MIPP) events targeted at photographers, 2 of which were held in Malta and with the other having been held in Gozo.
The presentation addresses photographers’ frequently-asked questions and oft-encountered difficulties and conundrums. Issues covered include copyright, licensing, privacy & data protection, legal issues with photos of different subjects and public order considerations.
